Why did my loss sheet fail to process?

Learn how to troubleshoot and fix a loss sheet

If a loss sheet fails to process, youโ€™ll see an error notification in Adjusto and receive an email explaining that something went wrong.

Start here:

  • Open the Loss Sheets tab
  • Find the loss sheet with a Failed status
  • Review the error description to see what caused the issue

Common reasons a loss sheet fails:

Missing or unclear fields

Adjusto looks for these standard fields:

  • Description (required)
  • Room
  • Condition
  • Store
  • Quantity
  • Age
  • Price

Our AI can usually figure out columns even if the headers donโ€™t exactly match, but if headers are too unclear or missing, processing can fail. Double-check your column names and update them if needed.

Once corrected, re-upload the loss sheet and it should process successfully.
