Divide a Room Into Surfaces
- Break the room into surfaces: walls, floors, islands, countertops, or any flat area where items are located.
- Work one surface at a time and finish it before moving on.
- Move in a consistent pattern: top to bottom, left to right.
- Record floors separately instead of folding them into wall surfaces.
- Treat closets as their own room, especially larger closets.
