Reviewing Processed Items

How to review and update items

🟣

You’ll need to review the items to confirm that the Matched Prices and Classifications are accurate.

Matched Prices/Settlement Prices

When a Submitted Unit Price is provided, you can use the Unit Price Diff % and Unit Price Diff columns to see price differences.

  • Purple cells indicate that the matched item is less expensive than what was submitted.
  • Red cells indicate that the matched item is more expensive than what was submitted.
  • Darker cells indicate a larger price difference
  • When both cells are dark, that indicates a price difference that is both proportionally & monetarily large
    • These must should be

Sort by the Unit Price Diff % column to review items with larger price differences, as that can indicate that the product match is not accurate.

If a product match is not accurate, update the match to an item that is of the same like, kind, and quality.

Depreciation Classification

You’ll need to review that depreciation classifications/categories have been selected correctly.

Sort the items by the Classification column and scroll through the items, reviewing the item descriptions to make sure they’ve been given the correct depreciation classification.

Update any depreciation classifications that do not fit the item.

Description vs Matched Description

Another thing to review is the item matches themselves. To do this:

  • Sort the Submitted Price or Matched Price column by clicking on it, so that the most expensive items are at the top.
  • Horizontally scroll the table or move the columns so that Description and Matched Description are next to each other
  • Scroll through the items while comparing the Description and Matched Description.
    • If a match doesn’t look accurate to the submitted Description, update it.
